This Privacy Policy explains how Splash Creative, LLC ("Splash Creative," "we," "us") handles information in connection with our private, internal software integration that connects to Intuit QuickBooks Online (the "Application"). The Application is used only by Splash Creative and the business owners it operates on behalf of. It is not offered to the public and has no external end users.
This policy covers the Application only. It does not cover Intuit, QuickBooks, or any other third party service, each of which is governed by its own privacy policy.
When authorized through Intuit's OAuth sign-in, the Application accesses accounting data in the connected QuickBooks Online company or companies, which may include company profile information, chart of accounts, customers, vendors, transactions, journal entries, and financial reports. The Application accesses this data solely to perform the bookkeeping, reporting, and accounting automation requested by the account owner.
Accessed data is used only to provide the account owner's own accounting and reporting functions, such as generating reports and creating or updating records that the owner directs. We do not use this data for advertising, and we do not sell it.
We do not share, rent, or sell QuickBooks data with third parties. Data moves only between the account owner's own device or environment and Intuit's API over encrypted connections.
Authorization tokens created during the Intuit sign-in are stored on the account owner's own device with restricted file permissions and are never written to logs. All communication with Intuit occurs over HTTPS. Because the Application is operated privately by the account owner, access is limited to the owner's own systems.
The account owner may disconnect the Application at any time from within Intuit (Settings, then Apps or Connected Apps), which revokes its access. Locally stored tokens can be deleted at any time by removing the token store file on the owner's device. We retain accessed data only as long as needed to perform the requested function.
The Application is a business accounting tool and is not directed to children.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by a new "Last updated" date on this page.
